The Google Street View Trusted program is evolving
If you are unfamiliar with trusted Google Street View, you can find out more here. The program has always been an effective way to earn a recognition badge from Google, to show that you are qualified to put businesses on the map. However, as the industry evolves, so does the program.
Google will now segment the program into three service-based tiers, instead of a standardized buffer.
The levels are as follows:
- Street View Trusted: For general Street View capture on foot or in a car
- Large Tour Trusted: These are larger virtual tours, such as shopping malls.
- Virtual Tour Trusted: As the name suggests, virtual tours of small places such as stores will fall under this category.
