They trust us
A 3D tour, plus everything you need to know.
A Matterport tour shows the space. An enhanced virtual tour explains it: an equipment sheet opens in front of the equipment, the video of a process in the room where it takes place. A branded menu leads straight to the important areas, and everyone explores at their own pace.
01
Information where it applies
Text, photos, videos, PDF documents and links open in the right place. Visitors don’t have to search: they click on what they see.
02
A menu in your brand
Your logo, your colours, fonts close to those of your website, a French and an English version, and the Matterport logo hidden.
03
An interactive virtual tour
In a case study published by Matterport, 94% of visitors to Optical Center’s virtual store (built with Treedis) interacted with its content.
04
Up to date without going back on site
A unit is rented, a video is ready: the tag is edited online, by our team or by yours.
A real tour to explore
Step inside Candiac’s Atelier 25.
The City of Candiac’s new public works building: 76 information tags, a six-section menu and three aerial views. Open the menu, pick a section, click on a tag: this is what your visitors will see.
Who uses an enhanced tour?
Municipalities
Inaugurate a public building and let citizens discover it: every service and every innovation explained on the spot.
Schools and colleges
An open house all year round: classrooms, sports facilities and common areas presented with a tag or a video.
Showrooms and manufacturers
Every product becomes clickable: description, photos, PDF spec sheet and link to your website.
Museums and exhibitions
Text, images and videos placed in front of the works, so the exhibition can be discovered remotely.
Industrial and training
Safety instructions, equipment sheets and procedures explained on the spot, to train staff or welcome contractors.
Hotels and tourism

Good to know: tags do not display in virtual reality
With a headset, the tour can be explored in virtual reality, but without the information tags. To present your content, open it on a computer, a tablet or a phone.
What is an enhanced virtual tour?
An enhanced virtual tour starts with a Matterport 3D virtual tour: the building is captured with the Pro3 camera, then assembled into a model you move through freely. We then add content and a branded presentation. The tour becomes an interactive online tour: visitors don’t just look, they open a sheet, play a video, download a document or follow a path.
Information tags
Information tags (simply “tags” in Matterport’s vocabulary) are placed at the exact spot where they apply. A tag can hold text, photos, a video, a PDF document or a link. Their colour follows your brand guidelines.
Labels, highlights and guided tour
Labels name the rooms and areas. Highlights are chosen views, with an angle and a name; chained together, they form a guided tour, a path of stops with captions. You place these highlights yourself in the editor, and we use them to build the menu.
Branding to your identity, with aerial views
Branding is what makes the tour your tour: a title block, a menu by sections with your logo, your colours and fonts close to those of your website, a French and an English version, and the Matterport logo hidden. Aerial 360 drone views form an “Aerial views” section; each view opens on top of the tour, without leaving it.
Organizing a lot of information without losing the visitor
An interactive 3D virtual tour can hold dozens, even hundreds of tags. Matterport offers several tools to find your way around:
- Layers group tags by theme; visitors show or hide the ones they are interested in.
- Search finds a word in the content of the tags.
- Views: according to Matterport, a single tour can have up to 10 views, each with its own tags and its own access (general public, maintenance, training).
- CSV file import serves long lists of products or equipment.
Three enhanced tours produced by Panosphere 360
Atelier 25, for the City of Candiac. This is the City’s new public works building. With its Communications department, we placed 76 tags and built a six-section menu, including Exterior, Innovations and sustainable development, Administration and Workshops. Three aerial views complete the tour.
Collège Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. A tour of 41 tags and a four-section menu (Common areas, Classrooms, Sports complex, Exterior), in the college’s colours and fonts. See also our school virtual tours.
The Produits Zitta and Vicostone Canada showrooms. 102 and 58 tags respectively: every product on display is clickable in the tour.
The same principle applies to museums, industrial facilities and hotels.
What about an enhanced Google virtual tour?
The tour can also be published on Google Maps for businesses, institutions and other non-residential locations ($100 extra). Google then receives the tour’s panoramas; the enhanced content, for its part, is viewed in the Matterport tour, embedded in your website or shared with a simple link. To learn more, see the Google virtual tour.
An enhanced tour with Panosphere 360
More than 1,000 tours published on Google Maps since 2015, a single person responsible from the scan to the training, and public prices. See our prices and our portfolio, or request a quote: a 30-minute call is all it takes to set the floor area, the content and the date.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our answers.
Another question? Write to marc@panosphere360.com or call 514 262-9248.
What is the difference between a 3D tour and an enhanced virtual tour?
The Matterport 3D tour shows the space: you move around, see the dollhouse view, take measurements. The enhanced tour adds content (tags, labels, guided tour, aerial views) and a branded presentation, from the same scan.
What can you put in an information tag?
Text, photos, videos, PDF documents and links to your website. Each tag is placed at the exact spot where it applies.
Can we edit the tour ourselves?
Yes. On request, your team receives access to the Matterport editor ($150 per year) to add or correct tags, labels and links the same day. A one-hour training session by video call is included.
Can the Matterport logo be removed?
Yes, the branding hides the Matterport logo. The tour displays your logo and your colours instead.
Can the tour be bilingual?
Yes. The menu and the content of the tags can be offered in French and in English. The Matterport interface buttons also display in the chosen language.
How many tags can be added?
As many as your content requires: Candiac’s Atelier 25 has 76, the Produits Zitta showroom, 102. For long lists, tags can be imported from a CSV file.
Do the tags display in virtual reality?
No. With a headset, the tour can be explored in virtual reality, but the information tags do not display in VR mode.
How long does it take to get an enhanced tour?
The 3D tour is online 24 to 48 hours after the scan in most cases. Branding and content are then added, within a few days depending on the amount of content.
Can videos and drone views be added?
Yes. A video is embedded in a tag, where it applies. Aerial 360 drone views form a section of the menu; each view opens on top of the tour.
Can we know how many people view the tour?
Yes. For each tour, Matterport provides the number of visits, unique visitors and impressions.
