Virtual tour hosting and maintenance
A tour that stays online, up to date, year after year.
Hosting a Matterport tour is included for the first year, then starts at $150 per year, analytics and minor corrections included. Same address for good; if your premises change, we rescan only the modified part, online within 24 to 48 hours in most cases. We have hosted tours since 2015, for clients across Quebec. Call 514 262-9248.
- First year of hosting included
- From $150 per year after that
- Visitor analytics included
- Archived, never deleted, if you stop
They trust us
A virtual tour lives longer than its scan.
A Matterport tour is hosted on Matterport’s servers, in a paid account: that is what keeps it online, measurable and embedded in your website. We look after that account for you. Your link doesn’t change, your tags stay in place, and you have a single point of contact when a text needs correcting, a room needs adding or the analytics need reading.
01
A permanent link
The tour’s address and embed code stay the same from one year to the next: nothing to change on your website, in your emails or on your Google Business Profile.
02
Analytics included
Number of visits, unique visitors and impressions, provided by Matterport for each tour, and a report on request.
03
Small corrections included
A text to correct, a photo to replace, a tag to move: maintenance covers these touch-ups, without a return visit.
04
Up to date without rescanning everything
A renovated room or an added wing: we rescan that part only and merge it into the existing model.
05
No subscription to manage
No Matterport account to open or renew on your side: a single annual amount, and the tour stays online.
A real tour to explore
The Time Out Market in Montreal, still online.
Click to launch the tour of the Time Out Market, at the Montreal Eaton Centre: counters, aisles and dining rooms can be explored just as they were on the day of the scan. That is what hosting guarantees: a tour that stays accessible, at the same address, year after year.
What you receive

Hosting of the tour

Analytics
Visits, unique visitors and impressions, available at any time; a report is sent to you on request.
Small corrections
Texts, photos, links, starting point, rooms to name: routine touch-ups are included.
Branding resynchronization
If your tour is branded (a menu in your colours), every change to the tags is carried over into the branded version.
A single point of contact
Marc Durand Bréard, who scanned your premises, answers your update requests himself, in French.

Good to know: who owns the tour
Under Matterport’s terms, a tour belongs to the holder of the account that hosts it. The photos, the floor plans and the delivered files are yours; the tour itself lives in our account as long as we host it. On request, we transfer it to your Matterport account, at the same address: this requires a compatible paid Matterport plan, and that plan then determines the features available.
Virtual tour hosting: what the first year includes
A Matterport 3D virtual tour is not a file we hand over to you: it is a model hosted on Matterport’s servers, viewed online, measurable and embedded in your website with a code. To stay accessible, it has to live in a paid Matterport account. That account is ours. The first year of hosting is included in the price of every tour, along with the 2D floor plan, the embed code, the analytics and the one-hour training session.
During that year, routine touch-ups are included: correcting a text, replacing a photo, naming a room, changing the starting view. If the tour is branded to your identity, every change is resynchronized in the branded version.
How much does hosting a Matterport tour cost after the first year?
Renewal starts at $150 per year, taxes extra. The amount is higher for very large models (a campus, a plant, several merged buildings), because they take up more space in the account. As the renewal date approaches, you receive a proposal with the exact price; you renew, or not.
What you pay for, concretely: the tour online at the same address, the visitor analytics, the small corrections and the branding resynchronization. No account to open, no Matterport subscription to manage on your side.
Updating a virtual tour without rescanning everything
Premises change: a room is renovated, a wing is added, a workshop is rearranged. Rather than rescanning the whole building, we rescan the modified part and merge it into the existing model; according to Matterport, information tags can be copied during the merge, and we reposition them as needed. The price follows the usual price list, based on the area rescanned: from $395 for under 1,500 sq. ft.
For content, there are two ways to go. Our team adds or edits tags, videos and documents at $90/hr. Or your team receives editor access ($150 per year), as for an enhanced tour, and makes its own changes the same day; the branded version is then resynchronized by us.
Transferring a Matterport tour to your account
Under Matterport’s terms, a tour belongs to the holder of the account that hosts it. We prefer to say it plainly: as long as we host your tour, it lives in our account, and the photos, the floor plans and the delivered files are yours. On request, we transfer the tour to your own Matterport account. According to Matterport, its address stays the same after the transfer: your website and your Google Business Profile have nothing to change.
Two conditions to know about. Your account must have a compatible paid plan: a tour captured with the Pro3 cannot be transferred to a free account. And it is then your plan that determines the features available (Views for each audience, technical files, analytics export). We discuss it before the transfer, to avoid surprises.
What happens if you stop hosting?
The tour is archived, not deleted. The link stops working, but the model, the floor plan and the tags are kept. When you need it again, we reactivate it and it comes back online at the same address, without a new scan. This is handy for premises under renovation, a finished exhibition or a sold unit you want to keep a record of.
Tours hosted for casinos, hotels, retailers and cities
Loto-Québec, Couche-Tard, Best Western, the City of Candiac: organizations of all sizes entrust us with hosting their tours. Embedded in the client’s website, published on Google Maps for non-residential locations, tracked through their analytics, they keep giving tours long after the scan. For a chain or a property portfolio, hosting is managed in a multi-site program; for a confidential location, in a private tour.
- A single point of contact, Marc Durand Bréard, from the quote to the renewal.
- More than 1,000 tours published on Google Maps since 2015.
- Matterport Service Partner, equipped with the Pro3 camera.
- Service in French, in Boucherville and across Quebec.

How much does hosting a Matterport tour cost?
The first year is included in the price of the tour. After that, hosting renews from $150 per year; the amount is higher for very large models. It includes the analytics, small corrections and branding resynchronization.
What happens if I don’t renew hosting?
The tour is archived, not deleted: the link stops working, but the model, the tags and the floor plan are kept. You can ask for it to be reactivated later; it then comes back online at the same address.
Can a tour be archived and then reactivated?
Yes. This is useful for premises under renovation, a finished exhibition or a sold unit: we archive the tour, then reactivate it when you need it again, without rescanning.
Can a Matterport tour be transferred to my own account?
Yes, on request. According to Matterport, the tour’s address stays the same after the transfer. Your account must however have a compatible paid plan: a tour captured with the Pro3 cannot go into a free account, and it is your plan that then determines the features available.
Does the tour link change after a renewal or a transfer?
No. The address and the embed code stay the same, whether the tour is renewed with us or transferred to your account. Your website, your emails and your Google Business Profile have nothing to change.
Who edits the information tags?
Both options exist. Our team adds or corrects content at $90/hr. Or your team receives access to the Matterport editor ($150 per year) and edits tags, labels and highlights itself; a one-hour training session is included.
How do you update a virtual tour when the premises have changed?
We rescan only the part that has changed (a room, a floor, a wing), then merge it into the existing model; according to Matterport, tags can be copied during the merge. The price follows the price list, based on the area rescanned.
Are visitor analytics included?
Yes. For each tour, Matterport provides the number of visits, unique visitors and impressions. We send you a report on request, for example before a meeting or an annual review.
Do I need to open a Matterport account myself?
No. The tour is hosted in our account, which gives access to Matterport’s professional features: Views for each audience, blurring, merging, analytics export. You have nothing to install or renew on your side.
Does hosting cover several tours?
Each tour is renewed separately, but a portfolio of several sites can be covered by a package on quote. This is the case for chains, franchises and property portfolios.
