Multi-site 3D scanning: chains, franchises, property portfolios
The same path, the same branding, on every site.
A multi-site program is priced by quote: each site follows the grid by floor area (from $395), travel shared between sites on one route. Chains, franchises, CPEs and municipal portfolios receive each tour 24 to 48 hours after the scan in most cases, anywhere in Quebec. More than 1,000 tours on Google Maps since 2015. - One scanning standard for every site
- Travel shared between the sites of a route
- One account, all your tours
- Scans possible in the evening and on Saturday mornings
They trust us
Ten sites, a hundred sites: one way of doing things.
When you scan several locations, the value comes from consistency: the same path, the same starting point, the same menu, the same information tags from one site to the next. A customer who knows one of your tours finds their way around all the others. We set that standard with you, then apply it site after site, and you track everything in a single account.
01
A single scanning standard
Areas to scan, starting point, room names, tags, branding: everything is defined once, then reproduced at every site.
02
A planned route
Sites in the same region are scanned on one route; beyond about 100 km from Montreal, the $0.73/km travel fee is shared between them.
03
A single point of contact
Marc Durand Bréard plans the route, scans every site and trains your team. No subcontractor to coordinate on your side.
04
One account to track everything
All the tours are gathered in a centralized account: each site’s analytics, links, embed codes and access, in one place.
05
Fewer trips for your teams
According to Matterport, 3D Walkabout, which scanned a network of stores in Australia, cut its travel costs by more than 50%; Cushman & Wakefield reports 53% in savings. These are Matterport clients, not Panosphere clients.
06
The same branding everywhere
A menu in your colours, bilingual if needed, designed once and applied to every tour, with the Matterport logo hidden.
A real tour to explore
The Casino de Montréal, one of Loto-Québec’s sites.
Click to launch the tour of the Casino de Montréal. For Loto-Québec, we also scanned the Casino de Mont-Tremblant and the Hilton Lac-Leamy, the same way: the same way of moving through the premises, the same information tags, a single account.
Who scans several sites?
Retail chains and convenience stores
Every location on its Google Business Profile and on your website, with the same path; new openings are added to the standard.
Franchises
A model tour that shows the franchisee what a compliant location looks like, and the customer what they will find at every address.
Hotel groups and casinos
Guest rooms, meeting rooms, restaurants and gaming areas presented the same way in every property of the group.
CPEs and daycares with several facilities
Every facility toured by parents before enrolment, with the same landmarks: cloakroom, rooms, outdoor yard.
Government departments and public bodies
Sites spread across the territory, such as highway rest areas, documented to a common standard for management and calls for tenders.
Municipalities and property managers
The property portfolio scanned building by building: arenas, libraries, garages, offices, with a floor plan and measurements in every tour.
How it works
From the first call to going live.
- 1
The standard, set with you
A call to define the areas to scan, the starting point, the tags, the branding and the list of sites. Written quote for the whole, within 24 hours.
- 2
The route
Sites are grouped by region and scanned in sequence, during the day, in the evening or on Saturday mornings, depending on your opening hours.
- 3
The tours online
Each tour is online 24 to 48 hours after its scan in most cases, named and organized in the account according to the agreed standard.
- 4
The follow-up
A one-hour training session for your team, analytics per site, and new addresses added as they open.

Multi-site scanning: one standard, one route, one account
Scanning a building is a scan. Scanning a chain, a franchise or a property portfolio is a program: every Matterport 3D virtual tour has to look like the others, travel has to be organized and someone has to keep the overall view. That is what we offer, across Quebec, for dozens of sites as for three.
The standard. Before the first scan, we define together what a tour of your network must contain: the areas to scan and those to exclude, the starting point, the room names, the information tags, the branding to your identity. This standard is written down and serves for every site, including those that will open later.
The route. Sites are grouped by region and scanned in sequence, often in the evening or on Saturday mornings when they are empty. Beyond about 100 km from Montreal, the $0.73/km travel fee is shared between the sites on the route: the more you group together, the less each one pays.
The account. All the tours live in a single account: links, embed codes, each site’s analytics and each manager’s access, in one place. According to Matterport, visitor analytics (visits, unique visitors, impressions) are available per tour or for the account as a whole.
Virtual tours for a chain or a franchise
For a retail network, every location has its Google virtual tour published on its own profile, and the same 3D tour embedded in the location’s page on your website. The customer recognizes the path from one address to the next. For a franchise, the model tour also serves internally: it shows the new franchisee what a compliant location looks like, from the counter to the back room.
The hotels in a group present guest rooms, meeting rooms and restaurants the same way; see our hotel virtual tours. CPEs with several facilities give parents the same landmarks everywhere: the entrance, the rooms, the yard; see our daycare and CPE tours.
Three multi-site programs completed by Panosphere 360
Loto-Québec. Casinos, gaming halls and the Hilton Lac-Leamy: large properties, scanned the same way. The Casino de Montréal, above, and the Casino de Mont-Tremblant are two examples.
The highway rest areas of Quebec’s Ministère des Transports. Sites spread along Quebec’s highways, documented to a common standard, for portfolio management and calls for tenders. Each rest area has its model, its floor plan and its measurements.
CPEs with several facilities. Every facility scanned with the same landmarks, so that parents tour the one in their neighbourhood just like all the others.
When the sites are very large buildings or campuses, the same principles apply, with, in addition, the merging of several scans into one model: see the large sites and campuses page.
How much does it cost to scan several locations?
Each site is billed according to the price list, based on its floor area: $395 for under 1,500 sq. ft., then $100 more per additional 1,000 sq. ft., up to $1,295 for 10,500 sq. ft. The package for the whole network, with the route and the common branding, is covered by a written quote within 24 hours. Hosting for each tour is included the first year, then renews from $150 per year.
- A single point of contact, Marc Durand Bréard, from the standard to the training.
- More than 1,000 tours published on Google Maps since 2015.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our answers.
Another question? Write to marc@panosphere360.com or call 514 262-9248.
Can dozens of sites be scanned to the same standard?
Yes. That is the principle of the program: the areas to scan, the starting point, the room names, the tags and the branding are defined once, then applied to every site. A standards document is handed to you and serves for future openings.
How is access to the tours organized?
All the tours are gathered in a centralized account. Each manager receives the link and the embed code for their sites; if needed, a tour can offer several Views depending on the audience (customers, maintenance, management), with separate access.
Can you scan outside opening hours?
Yes. We often scan in the evening or on Saturday mornings, when the premises are empty, so as not to disturb customers or the children at a CPE. The route is planned around each site’s hours.
How long does it take per site?
It depends on the floor area and the number of rooms. The quote states the expected duration for each site; the scan is done without interrupting your operations.
Can the sites be compared with each other?
Scanned to the same standard, the sites can be compared at a glance: layout, displays, signage, condition of the premises. The analytics for every tour are in the same account.
How are travel costs calculated?
Beyond about 100 km from Montreal, the fee is $0.73/km, shared between the sites of the same route. Grouping the sites of a region into the same sequence reduces each one’s share.
Can sites be added later?
Yes. A new location or a new facility is scanned to the existing standard and added to the account, with the same branding. The price follows the price list, based on floor area.
Can the tours be published on Google Maps?
Yes, for stores, hotels, daycares and other non-residential locations: $100 more per site. Each location then appears on its own Google Business Profile.
Who updates the tours?
Our team, at $90/hr, or yours with editor access ($150 per year) and a one-hour training session. A rearranged room can be rescanned on its own, then merged into the existing model.
Do we need a Matterport account on our side?
No. The tours are hosted in our account, the first year included, then from $150 per year each. On request, they can be transferred to your own Matterport account, at the same address.
