Panosphere 360 produces virtual tours, 3D scans and Google Street View imagery for businesses and institutions across Quebec. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect on this website, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. It is written to comply with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).

What we collect
- Quote form: your name, email, phone number, organization, the city and type of the space, its approximate area, the options chosen and your message.
- Email, phone and appointments: what you choose to send us, and the details needed to book a video call or a capture (date, address of the space, contact person).
- Audience measurement, only if you accept it: pages viewed, time on the site, type of device and browser, approximate location (city), the page or site you came from. These data are collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Advertising results, only if you accept them: when you arrive from one of our Google Ads, Google Ads records whether the visit led to a phone call or a quote request (conversion tracking). We do not use these data to personalize ads or to follow you on other sites.
- Technical logs: our host automatically records technical information (IP address, browser, date and time) to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it
- To answer your request, prepare a written quote, plan the capture and bill the work.
- To improve the site, only if you consent to audience measurement.
- To keep the site secure.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use ad personalization, remarketing or profiling cookies.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Strictly necessary: your cookie choice is stored in your browser (local storage) for 12 months, so we do not ask again on every page.
- Audience measurement and advertising results (Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking): turned off by default. They are only activated if you click “Accept” in the banner. You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page; declining is as simple as accepting.
- Third-party content: Matterport virtual tours, Google maps and videos only load when you click them. Those services may then set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Service providers and storage outside Quebec
We rely on a few providers to run the site and serve you. They may store information outside Quebec, mainly in the United States; we choose providers that offer adequate protection and only share what is needed:
- Vercel: website hosting;
- Resend: delivery of quote requests by email;
- Google: email, calendar and, with your consent, audience measurement and Google Ads conversion tracking;
- Matterport: hosting of the virtual tours;
- Square: capture booking and payment.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and the mandate, then as long as required by tax and accounting obligations. Audience measurement data are kept for no more than 14 months. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our host.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the information is limited to the people who need it, through password-protected accounts. No system is perfectly secure: if a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people concerned, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent, ask us to stop using it or to obtain it in a structured format. Write to marc@panosphere360.com or use the contact page; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Visitors from the European Union have equivalent rights under the GDPR and can exercise them the same way.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
