Virtual tour for clinics, hospitals and seniors’ residences

The first visit happens from a distance, with confidence.

A clinic virtual tour starts at $395 under 1,500 sq. ft. and runs $495 to $595 between 1,500 and 3,500 sq. ft.; a seniors’ residence is scanned in parts (lobby, dining room, unit types). Captured without patients or residents, outside opening hours; online within 24 to 48 hours in most cases, with staff-only versions. Across Quebec, since 2015. Call 514 262-9248.

They trust us

Choosing a place of care starts with seeing it.

A daughter looking for a residence for her mother from another city, a patient worried before surgery, a family comparing two CHSLDs: they all want to see the premises before they commit. The virtual tour shows them the entrance, the waiting room, the dining room or a typical unit, at any hour.

A real tour to explore

Step inside the Centre métropolitain de chirurgie.

The 3D tour of the Complexe chirurgical CMC: 13 information tags guide patients from the entrance to the consultation areas and the operating rooms. This is what your patients will see at your facility.

Six uses of a virtual tour in health care.

You stay in control

Your team updates the tour itself.

On request, your communications department receives access to the Matterport editor: it adds its own information tags, presents a new service, updates the rate for a unit or the activity calendar, without waiting for us.

  • Add or edit information tags: services, unit rates, activities, PDFs, links
  • Name rooms and units, place labels
  • Create a guided tour for families
  • Editor access: $150 per year

Public pricing

Pricing based on the area captured.

A clinic is often 1,500 to 3,500 sq. ft.: $495 to $595, 2D floor plan and one year of hosting included. A residence is scanned in parts: lobby, dining room, lounges and one or two unit types.

Good to know: no patients, no residents, no records in view

The capture takes place outside opening hours or in an empty wing. A face, a name on a board or a document that might still appear is blurred before the tour goes online. Areas that should not be shown (care units, pharmacy, technical rooms) are excluded or reserved for staff by password, and nothing is published without your written approval.

Seniors’ residence virtual tour: choose from a distance, confirm in person

A son who lives in Sherbrooke is looking for a residence for his mother in Laval; he cannot visit five places in one weekend. One evening, he opens the link to the virtual tour of your private seniors’ residence (RPA): the lobby, the dining room, the lounge, the courtyard, then a typical unit. One tag describes the meal service; another explains what is included and the rate. He goes through the tour again with his sister, and when they call you, they have already decided to come and see you.

That is the first role of a virtual tour of a seniors’ residence or a CHSLD: showing the cleanliness, the light and the common areas to families who often decide from afar, and under pressure. The capture is done without residents, in the common areas and in an unoccupied unit.

For the CHSLDs and the Maisons des aînés (seniors’ homes) in Laval, we produced 360° virtual tours for residents, their families and staff, with simple navigation designed for people who are less comfortable with technology or have reduced mobility. For a private residence, an enhanced virtual tour adds a menu by unit type and information tags on services, activities and rates.

Clinic virtual tour: less anxiety at the first appointment

In a dental clinic, a medical clinic, a physiotherapy clinic or a surgical centre, many patients arrive nervous. Seeing the reception area, the waiting room and the treatment room in advance removes part of the unknown. That is what the 3D tour of the Centre métropolitain de chirurgie does: thirteen information tags lead patients from the entrance to the operating rooms.

We have been producing clinic virtual tours since our beginnings: the Centre dentaire et d’implantologie de Boucherville (Dr. Lachapelle) as a 3D tour, the Hôpital vétérinaire Roussillon on Google Street View, the Zone Détente spa in Saint-Hyacinthe, where the soft lighting of the treatment rooms is preserved thanks to HDR processing. A clinic is often 1,500 to 3,500 sq. ft. and is captured in one evening.

The tour then works for you on your website, in your job postings and on your Google Maps listing, where it appears for anyone searching for a dentist or a physiotherapist in the neighbourhood: that is the Google virtual tour, often captured the same day.

Hospital and facility virtual tour: guide, document, protect

For a hospital, a CISSS or a large centre, the same 3D model works for several departments.

Patient and visitor wayfinding

A link sent with the appointment notice leads to the right entrance, the right floor and the right counter. Volunteers, interns and new staff find their way around before their first day.

Documenting the facilities

The model is dated and measurable: it is used to plan a reconfiguration, prepare a call for tenders or document the condition of a wing before work begins, without multiplying survey visits. According to Matterport, the BHI hospital halved its on-site visits and cut its documentation time by 25% thanks to its digital twins. For plans and technical files, see building 3D scanning and the floor plan.

Staff-only versions

The same tour can exist in several versions, each with its own tags and access. The public version shows the reception and the waiting areas; a password-protected version tags the exits, fire extinguishers, defibrillators and valves for evacuation plans. According to Matterport, the provider Digital Twin Imaging cut the time first responders took to locate a room from more than 7 minutes to under 30 seconds this way.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, our answers.

Another question? Write to marc@panosphere360.com or call 514 262-9248.

When do you capture a clinic or a residence?

Outside opening hours: in the evening, on Saturday morning or during a closure. In a residence, we capture the common areas at a quiet time, plus an unoccupied or model unit. No patients or residents appear.

Do we need to scan the entire seniors’ residence?

No. A virtual tour of a private seniors’ residence (RPA) shows what families want to see: the lobby, the dining room, the lounges, the courtyard and one or two unit types. The price follows the area captured, not the size of the building.

How much does a virtual tour of a dental or medical clinic cost?

A clinic is often 1,500 to 3,500 sq. ft.: $495 to $595, 2D floor plan and one year of hosting included. Under 1,500 sq. ft.: $395. Branding and publication on Google Maps are added as needed.

What about patient and resident privacy?

No one appears in the tour, and any face, name or document that remains visible is blurred. Sensitive areas are excluded or password-protected. You approve the tour before it goes online.

Can part of the tour be reserved for staff?

Yes. According to Matterport, the same tour can exist in several views, each with its own tags and access: a public version for patients and families, a password-protected version for maintenance, security or training.

Can we put the tour on our website and on Google?

Yes, both. You receive an embed code for your website and a link for your emails. For a clinic, a centre or the common areas of a residence, the tour can also be published on your Google Maps listing (+$100): it is a non-residential location.

How long does the capture take?

According to Matterport, 1 to 3 hours for 1,000 to 4,000 sq. ft. A clinic can therefore be captured in one evening; the common areas of a residence, in half a day to a full day.

Is the tour easy for seniors to use?

It opens in a browser, with no app, on a tablet, computer or cellphone. A guided tour that plays automatically means they do not even have to click. According to Matterport, the interface was redesigned in 2026 to work better with a keyboard and a screen reader.
