Virtual tours for event venues, sports centres and recreation
Tour it, measure it, book it: without the trip.
A virtual tour of an event venue or sports centre starts at $395 under 1,500 sq. ft.: hall, lobby or kitchen as needed, floor plan included. Scanned with the room empty, evening or Saturday morning, half a day for about 10,000 sq. ft.; planners measure the stage 24 to 48 hours later in most cases. All of Quebec, since 2015. Phone: 514 262-9248.
- 2D floor plan and 1 year of hosting included
- Online within 24 to 48 hours
- Captured in the evening or on Saturday morning, with the room empty
- Over 1,000 tours published on Google Maps since 2015
They trust us
You measure a room before you book it.
A wedding, conference or show planner does not book a room based on three photos. They want to know whether the stage fits, which way the caterer comes in, how many tables the room holds. An event venue virtual tour answers those questions, even before they call you.
01
Rent out your room remotely, with fewer site visits
The planner walks through the set-up room, measures the stage and the doors (±20 mm at 10 m, according to Matterport) and sends the link to their caterer.
02
A to-scale 3D room plan
Everything in the tour can be measured, and the 2D floor plan drawn from the scan is included: the starting point for your client’s table plan.
03
Sell memberships, rent out your facilities
Prospective members see the weight room before signing up; leagues tour the gym, the ice or the pool before booking.
04
Visible on Google and on your website
A venue, gym or spa is a non-residential location: the tour is published on your Google Business Profile in Google Maps and on your booking page.
A real tour to explore
Step inside the Théâtre de la Providence.
The performance hall of the Collège Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, in Longueuil: orchestra, balcony, stage and control booth. Move between the seats, step onto the stage, measure the stage opening. This is what a theatre company will see before renting your venue.
Six uses of a virtual tour in a venue or sports centre.
Reception and banquet halls
Weddings, galas, conferences: the planner checks the capacity and the delivery access, then prepares their room layout.
Performance halls and auditoriums
Orchestra, balcony, stage, control booth: theatre companies see the hall before renting it; audience members choose their seat.
Gyms and training centres
Prospective members walk through the weight room, the studios and the locker rooms; tags lead to the class schedule.
Arenas, pools and sports centres
Leagues, clubs and schools tour the ice, the pool and the gyms before booking a facility.
Recreation attractions: spa, studio, games room
A spa, a ceramics studio or a games room shows off its atmosphere on its Google Business Profile.
Orientation and safety during the event
Entrances, locker rooms, emergency exits and first aid tagged in the tour, shared with volunteers and first responders.
You stay in control
Your sales team updates the tour itself.
On request, your team receives access to the Matterport editor for the tour. It adds tags on packages, availability and catering menus the same day, without waiting for us. One-hour training included.
- Add or edit information tags: packages, availability, catering menus, PDFs, booking links
- Name rooms, choose the starting view, hide private areas
- Editor access: $150 per year
Public pricing
Pricing based on the area of the venue.
The price depends on the floor area captured: the room, plus the lobby or the kitchen if you want to show them. It includes the capture, the 3D tour, the 2D floor plan and one year of hosting.

Good to know: an empty or set-up room, and measurements for planning
We capture the room as it is on the day of the capture: empty, or set up in its most requested configuration; another configuration is an additional capture. The measurements (±20 mm at 10 m, according to Matterport) are for preparing a room layout; they do not replace a certified survey or the permitted occupant load. We do not integrate the tour into room-layout software.
Reception hall virtual tour: what the planner does with the link
On a Tuesday evening, a wedding coordinator receives the link to your reception hall. She walks through the room set up for a banquet and measures the stage: width, depth, ceiling height. One tag shows her the electrical outlets for the sound system; another, the number of round tables the room holds. She sends the link to her caterer and sketches her room layout in the floor plan view.
When she calls you, all that is left is the date, the menu and the price. That is what an event venue virtual tour does: it takes care of the first visit, the one that tells whether the room is right, and leaves the second one for the details.
Everything in the tour can be measured (±20 mm at 10 m, according to Matterport), and the 2D floor plan is included. According to Matterport, Allseated, an American room-layout software company that became its partner, reports a 30% increase in sales and planners who are 60% more efficient. We do not sell that software: we deliver the plan and the measurable tour, which your client uses with their own tools.
Sports centres, gyms and arenas: sell memberships, rent out your facilities
A sports centre virtual tour sells memberships first. Prospective members walk through the weight room, the studio and the locker rooms before making the trip. For the B52fit gym, in Montreal, we scanned all of the facilities and placed tags that lead to the website, social media, the class schedule and the equipment sheets. Visitors see the real size of the space, something photos convey poorly.
The same tour helps you rent out your facilities: leagues, clubs and schools looking for a gym, an ice surface or a pool tour it before booking. At the Collège Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, the sports wing (gyms, training room, dance studio) has its own section in the tour menu. For an arena virtual tour or a sports complex, we capture the whole building or one facility at a time; beyond 10,500 sq. ft., you get a quote within 24 hours. Outdoor fields are added as aerial drone views ($450 to $495), in the same tour.
Spa, studio, games room: the atmosphere, right from your Google Business Profile
For a recreation attraction, the first contact often happens on Google Maps. A Google virtual tour shows the atmosphere there before the booking: the treatment rooms and relaxation area at Zone Détente Spa Urbain, in Saint-Hyacinthe; the Céramic Café Studio in Greenfield Park, where groups paint ceramics together, from children’s parties to office parties; the dining room and bar at La Cochonne Rit, in Chambly, which groups look at before booking a private event there. The 3D tour and the Google tour are often captured on the same day.
The example of the Loto-Québec casinos and the Théâtre de la Providence
For Loto-Québec, we captured all of its casinos. At the Casino de Montréal, the tour covers the gaming rooms, the bars, the restaurants and the event spaces; at the Casino du Lac-Leamy, the performance halls and the bars, which event planners tour remotely; at the Hilton Lac-Leamy, the meeting and banquet rooms, with 12 information tags. Each tour is branded in Loto-Québec’s image: logo, colours, menu and bilingual tags.
At the Théâtre de la Providence, in Longueuil, the performance hall of the Collège Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes has its own branded tour, with a menu of locations: orchestra left, centre and right, balcony, stage and control booth. Theatre companies that rent the hall see the stage and the control booth; audience members choose their seat. This is an enhanced virtual tour: the Matterport 3D tour, plus the menu and the tags.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our answers.
Another question? Write to marc@panosphere360.com or call 514 262-9248.
Should the room be captured empty or set up?
Both are possible. A room set up for a banquet, a show or a cocktail reception shows the real capacity; an empty room lets the planner imagine their own layout. Each additional configuration is an additional capture.
How much does a virtual tour of a reception hall cost?
From $395 for under 1,500 sq. ft., 2D floor plan and one year of hosting included. A reception hall is often 2,500 to 6,000 sq. ft., or $595 to $895. The lobby and the kitchen are added to the area if you want to show them.
Can the planner measure the stage, the doors and the ceiling height?
Yes, any visitor can take measurements within the tour, according to Matterport, on desktop as well as on mobile. The Pro3 is accurate to ±20 mm at 10 m, according to Matterport: enough to check that a lighting truss fits through the door, not enough to replace a certified survey.
Is the room plan included?
The 2D floor plan of each floor, with approximate areas, is included; additional plans cost $50 to $100. Your client prepares their table plan on it; we do not integrate the tour into room-layout software.
How long does it take to capture a sports centre?
According to Matterport, 1 to 3 hours for 1,000 to 4,000 sq. ft. A sports centre can be scanned in full or one facility at a time: gym, pool, ice, locker rooms. Beyond 10,500 sq. ft., you receive a quote within 24 hours with the expected duration.
Can the tour be published on Google Maps?
Yes. A venue, gym, arena or spa is a non-residential location: the tour can be published on your Google Business Profile in Google Maps for an additional $100. A Google virtual tour (Street View) can often be captured the same day.
Who updates the packages, availability and menus?
You do, if you wish. With editor access ($150 per year), your sales team edits the information tags or replaces a photo itself, the same day. One-hour training is included.
What about members or guests present during the capture?
We prefer to capture the room when it is free: in the evening, on Saturday morning or between two bookings. Any face that still appears is blurred, and private areas are hidden. Nothing is published without your approval.
