They trust us
Free exploration or guided tour?
In a free tour, visitors go where they want, and many stop after a few clicks without having seen the essentials. In a guided tour, you lead the way: the reception, the laboratory, the gym, each with its caption. Visitors can leave the path to explore, then come back to it.
01
The essentials, in the right order
You choose the stops and their order; visitors see what you want to show, with a title and a caption at each step.
02
Autoplay for kiosks and trade shows
On a screen at the reception, at a trade show or during an open house, the tour starts on its own and plays in a loop.
03
In French and in English
The titles and captions of the stops are written by us in both languages; the texts generated by Matterport’s AI exist only in English.
04
A quick first draft, a human finish
According to Matterport, its tool automatically suggests a first path; we rework it with you: stops, angles, texts.
A real tour to explore
Collège Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, as a guided path.
Start the tour and let it lead you: classrooms, sports complex, common areas, exteriors, each with its title and caption. Leave the path to explore, then pick it up again.
Who needs a guided tour?
School recruitment
An open house all year round: from the reception to the classrooms, the gym and the common areas, in French and in English.
Museums and exhibitions
The path of the exhibition, room by room, with the curator’s text at each stop.
Tourism and hotels
From the lobby to the guest room, from the meeting room to the terrace: the walkthrough a staff member would give, available 24 hours a day.
Employee training and onboarding
The new employee’s route: entrance, locker rooms, workstation, emergency exits, with the instructions at each stop.
Kiosks and trade shows
On a screen, the tour plays in a loop and catches the eye; a visitor can take control at any time.
Real estate and leasing
The highlights of a property or a commercial space in the order that convinces, before the in-person visit.
How it works
From the first call to going live.
- 1
A 30-minute call
We set the stops to plan, the languages and the use (website, kiosk, trade show). You receive a written quote.
- 2
The scan, then the tour online
The 3D tour is captured with the Pro3 and put online 24 to 48 hours after the scan in most cases. If it already exists, we start from that one.
- 3
The path
You tell us your highlights, or we start from the first path suggested by Matterport’s tool; we set the stops and angles and write the captions in French and in English.
- 4
Review and launch
You review, we adjust, then you receive the autoplay link for your website, your kiosk or your trade show screen.
Public pricing

The guided tour is created in a Matterport 3D tour, existing or new (from $395 depending on floor area). Creating the path is billed at the content-addition rate: usually 1 to 3 hours, depending on the number of stops and languages.

Good to know about the guided tour
A Matterport tour contains only one guided path, according to Matterport: so the stops are chosen with care. The titles generated by Matterport’s AI exist only in English; we write the texts in French. The video made from the path is in beta at Matterport (September 2026): an option on a trial basis, with no guarantee of results or turnaround.
Guided virtual tour: telling the story of the space instead of leaving it to chance
A Matterport 3D virtual tour leaves visitors free. That is its strength, and its limit: nothing guarantees they will see the laboratory you just renovated or the room that made your reputation. The guided virtual tour solves that problem. It strings together stops, in the order you chose, each with a title and a caption.
According to a case study published by Matterport with one of its partners (a Matterport client, not a Panosphere client), a free tour lasts 2 to 5 minutes, compared with 25 to 30 minutes when it is guided.
How the path is built
Each stop is a chosen view: a position in the tour, an angle, a title and a caption. You tell us your highlights, or you place them yourself in the Matterport editor after the one-hour training session, and we set the stops, the angles and the transitions. According to Matterport, its tool can automatically suggest a first path, with stops, angles and descriptions; we start from it, then rework it with you. Its texts exist only in English: the French captions, we write ourselves.
Autoplay for kiosks, trade shows and open houses
The automatic guided tour starts with one click, or on its own through an autoplay link. On a screen at the reception, at a trade show booth or during an open house, it plays in a loop and catches the eye; as soon as a visitor touches the screen or the mouse, they take control and explore. It is the simplest virtual tour for a kiosk: one link, one browser, no app.
In French and in English
The titles and captions are written in both languages. With custom branding, French and English fit at a single address: visitors choose their language when the tour opens, and the menu, the sections and the path follow.
For whom: schools, museums, tourism, training
School recruitment. An open house all year round, for local families and candidates from outside the region: the reception, the classrooms, the sports complex, the common areas, in the order of a real visit. See our tours for schools, CEGEPs and universities and Collège Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, higher up.
Museums and exhibitions. The path of the exhibition, room by room, with the curator’s text at each stop, like the Van Horne exhibition, higher up. See museums and heritage and our heritage and exhibitions service.
Hotels and tourism. The walkthrough a staff member would give, from the lobby to the guest room, available 24 hours a day to event planners and travellers: see hotels and tourism.
Training and onboarding. The new employee’s route, from the entrance to the workstation, with the instructions at each stop; with the information tags of an enhanced tour, the detailed instruction, the video or the document opens in the right place.
A narrated path, and a video on trial
The narrated virtual tour relies on written captions; for video narration, a short clip is placed in a tag, at the relevant stop. As for the video made from the guided path (16:9, 9:16, 4:5 or 1:1, slideshow transitions), it is a feature Matterport has been trialling in beta since September 2026: an option on a trial basis, with no guarantee of results or turnaround.
A guided tour with Panosphere 360
Creating the path is billed at $90 per hour, usually 1 to 3 hours depending on the number of stops, in an existing or new 3D tour (from $395). A single person, Marc Durand Bréard, from the quote to the training; more than 1,000 tours published on Google Maps since 2015; Matterport Service Partner; service in French across Quebec. What is the difference between a guided tour and a free tour?
In a free tour, visitors move wherever they want in the 3D model. In a guided tour, they follow a path of stops in the order you chose, with a title and a caption at each step. They can leave the path to explore, then come back to it.
Can the tour play in a loop on a kiosk or at a trade show?
Yes. An autoplay link starts the path and loops it on a reception screen, a kiosk or a trade show booth. A visitor can take control at any time.
Can AI suggest a first path?
Yes. According to Matterport, its tool automatically suggests a first path: stops, angles and descriptions, in English only. We start from that first draft, rework it with you and write the captions in French.
Can we have a French version and an English version?
Yes. We write the titles and captions of the stops in both languages. With custom branding, French and English fit at a single address, and visitors choose their language when the tour opens.
How many stops should we plan?
Enough to tell the story of the space, no more. We choose the stops together during the call, according to what you want to show; creating the path usually takes 1 to 3 hours depending on their number.
Can a video be made from the guided tour?
Matterport is trialling a feature that produces a video (16:9, 9:16, 4:5 or 1:1) from the path, with slideshow transitions. It is a beta: we offer it as an option on a trial basis, with no guarantee.
How much does a guided tour cost?
$90 per hour to create the path; usually allow 1 to 3 hours depending on the number of stops. The Matterport 3D tour, if it does not already exist, is from $395 depending on floor area.
Can a guided tour be added to an existing Matterport tour?
Yes. The path is created in the tour’s Matterport editor, without a new scan. Your highlights already in place serve as a starting point.
Can we edit the path ourselves?
Yes. With editor access ($150 per year) and the one-hour training session included, your team edits the stops and captions in the Matterport editor. If the tour is branded, we resynchronize the menu.
