THE Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes College (NDL), a private secondary school in Longueuil founded 75 years ago, entrusted Panosphere 360 with the creation of the Matterport 3D virtual tour complete with its facilities at 845 Tiffin Road. With nearly 1,160 students from 1^D at the 5th^e Secondary, the NDL+ program, the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme offered for 30 years, more than 35 sports teams and about thirty extracurricular activities, the College needed a tool that matched its offering to make itself known to future students and their parents.

A virtual open house, accessible all year round

For a high school, the choice of institution often hinges on the open house, a whirlwind of activity that unfolds over just a few hours. The virtual tour extends this experience: families can explore at their own pace, from the comfort of home, the library, cafeteria and bistro, the science and chemistry labs, the technology and robotics room with its 3D printers and CNC cutter, the visual arts and drama rooms, the sports complex with its gymnasiums, fitness room and dance studio, as well as the Factory of possibilities, a class designed by the students. Each place is accompanied by information bubbles written by the College, which present the programs, values and initiatives of the school, such as the Alpha Lab Robotics Academy or the ancestral pollinator garden.

The tool is also used for admissions, communications, staff recruitment and event planning: a single link is enough to show a specific room, with the desired viewing angle.

A custom-designed setup for a large establishment

A school of this size cannot be captured in a single take. The building was digitized with the camera Matterport Pro3 in several models, then merged into one digital twin continuous, from the parking lot to the last room. Panosphere 360 then designed a custom interface using the College's colors and fonts:

• Four-section navigation menu : Living spaces, Classrooms, Sports block and Outdoors, with 27 locations accessible in one click and a starting view chosen for each.
• Around forty information bubbles integrated by the College team, reproduced in the visit with their colours, and synchronized at will when the content evolves.
• Zone-based guided navigation : a custom script developed with the Matterport SDK limits movement to neighboring spaces, so that the visit never crosses a wall or a floor and each bubble only appears in the right place.
• Settings adapted for the school environment : zoom and measurement tool disabled, photo protection against downloading, clean interface without third-party branding.

The Providence Theatre, a dedicated visit

The College also houses the Théâtre de la Providence, a performance hall with an orchestra level, balcony, and control booth. separate virtual tour of the Providence Theatre has been set up with its own dressing and a menu of locations (garden floor, center and courtyard, balcony, stage and control room), a practical tool for venue hire, troupes and spectators who want to choose their seat.
